Due to the construction works at Potsdamer Platz, the classic game including poker has moved from the 3rd floor to the 1st basement since February. This results in a limited range of games.

Dear guests, Due to the Basic Protection Regulations decided by the Berlin Senate, all G-Rules for our locations will no longer apply from April 1st, 2022 in order to gain access. We kindly ask you to wear a medical or FFP2 mask in our premises in order to protect our guests and employees. If required, you can get a free medical face mask at the reception.

The additional daily test does not apply to those who have been boostered (unlimited in time), those who have just been vaccinated (including those who are recovered and have just been vaccinated) for three months and those who have just recovered (including those who are vaccinated and have just recovered) for three months.

Access regulation and corona tests from October 11, 2021
The „3G rule” still applies to access to the locations of Spielbank Berlin. Access is granted to those who have been completely vaccinated, who have recovered or who have been tested. From October 11, 2021, Spielbank Berlin will be offering all guests who have not yet been fully vaccinated or recovered a free test at all Schnelltest Berlin locations in order to gain access to the Spielbank Berlin locations. You will only receive the test certificate (if negative) in the form of a QR code. This code can only be used in the locations of the Spielbank Berlin.

We are pleased that the first poker tournaments are taking place again. We start with three days: on August 2 (Mon), August 3 (Tue) and August 4 (Wed) we offer FreezeOut Classic poker tournaments in our main building at Potsdamer Platz. A maximum of 48 players are allowed to participate.

Update on mask requirements and max. number of visitors
Based on the changes in the Berlin Corona regulation, which were decided on July 6, 2021, we would like to give you an update on the conditions for the locations of the Spielbank Berlin that will apply from July 10, 2021: 1.) Access only for those who have been tested, recovered or fully vaccinated. 2.) It is compulsory to wear a medical face mask when entering and during your stay in the casino.In the slot machine game you may remove your mask while you are seated. In the classic game you also have to wear the mask at the table. You will receive a free medical face mask from us at reception.

Current range of games, admission and number of visitors
We look forward to welcoming you again from June 18, 2021 at our 4 locations. The current Corona regulation provides for some restrictions. This results in the following changes in the operation of our locations: 1.) Changed opening hours: daily from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., Classic games from 5 p.m. 2.) Regulations on the minimum distance and the maximum number of visitors. 3.) Access only for those who have been tested, recovered or fully vaccinated. Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory when entering and while staying in the Spielbank. Free test stations can be found in front of the locations (smartphone required).

It has been more than 7 months since we had to close our locations for the second time due to the corona pandemic. Finally, we are allowed to open our 4 locations on June 18, 2021 from 11 a.m.!

New opening at Kurfürstendamm 31 postponed
Due to the current Corona regulation, we unfortunately have to postpone the planned opening date of our new location at Ku‘damm 31 on May 1, 2021 until further notice. After 37 years at Los-Angeles-Platz, this Spielbank Berlin location is moving to Kurfürstendamm 31. We look forward to welcoming you there on two floors and over 1,000 square meters. Our range of games includes classic games (Roulette, Black Jack and Baccarat), 40 TouchBet stations and 100 slot machines. We will inform you here and via our Facebook account about the new opening date and about the reopening of our three other Spielbank Berlin locations.

May 1, 2021: New opening Kurfürstendamm 31
We are moving! After 37 years on Los-Angeles-Platz, this Spielbank Berlin location is moving to Kurfürstendamm 31. In the middle of the main shopping street in West Berlin, the new Spielbank Berlin location will open on May 1st, 2021. After more than 40 years, we are saying goodbye to the traditional location on Los-Angeles-Platz and moving only 800 meters further to Kurfürstendamm at the corner of Uhlandstraße. We look forward to welcoming you there from May 1, 2021 on two floors and over 1,000 square meters.

Current range of games and number of visitors
Here you will find information about our current range of games and the number of visitors. Since September 19th we have again been offering a black jack table and since September 24th American Roulette at the Los-Angeles-Platz location. At the TV tower, there are 2 poker tables with cash games available from 6 p.m. Since October 3rd we have been offering a table each for black jack and Ultimate Texas Hold'em at the Ellipse Spandau location. Of course, it is also ensured that the minimum distance and hygiene rules are observed.

Berlin, 05. November 2019. Tauchen ist eine Sportart, die eine gewisse körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit voraussetzt – so die landläufige Meinung. Vielen Menschen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen ist daher oft nicht bewusst, dass sie den Tauchsport dennoch ausüben können. Der 1. Berliner Inklusions Tauchclub aus Spandau hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, körperlich beeinträchtigten Menschen diesen Sport nahezubringen und somit zur Inklusion beizutragen. Über eine finanzielle Zuwendung konnten sich auch die Saunafreunde Berlin Familiensportverein e.V., der VfB Hermsdorf e.V. und die Nord-Berliner Schützen-Gemeinschaft 1975 freuen, an die Frank Steffel jeweils einen Scheck über 1.000 Euro überreichte. Berlin, 07. Mai 2019. Berlin gilt als tolerante und weltoffene Stadt. In der Hauptstadt leben die meisten Homosexuellen der Bundesrepublik, annähernd 350.000 Männer und Frauen. Seit 1990 besteht das Berliner Anti-Gewalt-Projekt MANEO und ist damit eines der ältesten und bekanntesten schwulen Anti-Gewalt-Projekte in Deutschland. Nun hat Bürgermeister a.D. In seiner Funktion als Beiratsmitglied der Spielbank Berlin überreichte LINKEN-Politiker Gregor Gysi dem Vereinsvorstand der Freien Vereinigung der Tourensegler Grünau 1898 e.V. einen Scheck über 5.000 Euro. Der Verein kann auf eine über 100jährige Geschichte zurückblicken und hat durch seine aktiven Regattasegler – unter ihnen Europameister und Deutsche Meister – einen Bekanntheitsgrad weit über Berlin hinaus erlangt.

Klaus Böger, Ehrenpräsident des Landessportbundes Berlin und Beiratsmitglied der Spielbank Berlin, hatte sich entschlossen, den altehrwürdigen Verein mit einer Finanzspritze zu unterstützen.
Spielbank Berlin unterstützt Köpenicker Mellowpark – Beiratsmitglied Gregor Gysi überreicht Scheck über 5.000 Euro Skate- und BMX-Park an der Wuhlheide soll Bundesstützpunkt für den BMX-Sport werden
Berlin, 15. März 2019. In seiner Funktion als Beiratsmitglied der Spielbank Berlin überreichte LINKEN-Politiker Gregor Gysi den Betreibern der Köpenicker Freizeitanlage Mellowpark einen Scheck über 5.000 Euro. Das Geld kommt nicht nur dem Erhalt der Anlage zugute, sondern soll auch genutzt werden, um das Gelände als Bundesstützpunkt für den BMX-Sport auszeichnen zu lassen. Hintergrund ist die Tatsache, dass BMX Freestyle seit 2017 als olympische Disziplin zugelassen ist. Für den Mellowpark gibt es bereits Pläne, eine 2.000 Quadratmeter große und acht Meter hohe Trainingshalle zu errichten. Da kommt die großzügige Finanzspritze genau recht.

Der Traum von Gold bei den Paralympics in Tokio – für Para-Schwimmerin Elena Krawzow ein Ziel in greifbarer Nähe
Ein Sieg bei den Paralympics ist das höchste Ziel, das sich ein Para-Sportler setzen kann, es ist die Erfüllung eines Traums, für den die Athleten viele Jahre lang hart trainieren. So auch die Berliner Para-Schwimmerin Elena Krawzow. Das Ziel der Ausnahmeathletin ist die Goldmedaille bei den Paralympics in Tokio im kommenden Jahr.
