    Video surveillance

    Purposes and legal basis of data processing:

    Video surveillance in the Spielbank Berlin is mostly prescribed by the Casino Act (Spielbankengesetz) to control the flow of money, as part of the Money Laundering Act and for the safety of visitors. The video surveillance is evaluated within the scope of the GDPR serves to protect visitors and employees and in particular to prevent burglary and damage to property. In the event of damage, they also serve as investigative aids and evidence preservation, as well as for revenue monitoring within the meaning of the Casino Act, for proper gameplay and for the protection of visitors.

     

    Legitimate interests:

    It is in our legitimate interest to ensure proper game operations and the safety of our visitors and employees.

     

    Storage duration or criteria for determining the duration:

    The data recorded at the gaming tables will be deleted after 3 days, the other recorded data will be deleted after seven days (§ 10 b Para. 3 Clause 1 Berlin Casino Act).

     

    In individual cases, a longer storage period can also be ordered if, to the extent and for as long as there are actual indications that a stored recording is necessary to prevent and investigate criminal offenses (Section 10 b, Paragraph 3, Clause 2 of the Berlin Casino Act).

     

    Notes on your rights as a data subject:

    You have the right to receive information from us about the personal data concerning you (Art. 15 GDPR).

     

    You have the right to request us to correct incorrect or incomplete personal data concerning you (Article 16 GDPR).

     

    You have the right to request us to delete or block your personal data if one of the reasons and conditions listed in Art. 17 or Art. 18 GDPR applies.

     

    You have the right to object to the processing of your data in special cases, unless there are legitimate reasons to do so (Art. 21 GDPR).

     

    You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you believe that, the processing of your data violates the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR).
