House Rules of Spielbank Berlin
The House Rules of Spielbank Berlin GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter: “Spielbank”) supplement the following regulations, which are also binding on gaming operations in their currently valid versions: the State Treaty on Gaming, the Casino Act of the State of Berlin, the Gaming Regulations of the Senate Department for the Interior and Sports, the Money Laundering Act, the Gaming Rules of Spielbank Berlin, and any special gaming conditions.
A. Access
Admission to the casino is granted to all persons who (i) are at least 18 years of age and have provided valid identification, (ii) have purchased an admission ticket, and (iii) have no grounds for being denied admission to the casino.
The casino is required to identify its guests in order to verify their eligibility to gamble, ensure proper gaming operations, protect against property damage, and prevent and investigate criminal offenses. To this end, the casino collects from guests their first and last names, place of birth, date of birth, nationality, and a residential address or mailing address where the guest can be reached. Verification of this information must generally be based on a valid official identification document that contains a photograph of the holder and satisfies the passport and identification requirements within the country, in particular a domestic passport, national ID card, or passport or ID substitute recognized or approved under immigration law. Driver’s licenses, employee IDs, student IDs, press cards, credit cards, and similar documents are not acceptable as proof of age or identity. The personal data collected in this process must be stored for a period of one year, beginning on the date of recording, and must be deleted thereafter, unless other legal provisions require a longer retention period.
To gain access to the casino, guests are required to purchase an admission ticket. The admission fee for a visit to the casino is 2.00 euros. By entering the gaming rooms, guests agree to abide by the casino’s house rules, gaming regulations, and rules of play. Admission tickets remain the property of the casino and are non-transferable. The loss of an admission ticket must be reported to the casino immediately. There is no entitlement to a replacement. Guests are required to keep their admission tickets with the care expected under the circumstances and are responsible for any misuse of their admission ticket or any resulting damage. The casino is entitled to confiscate an admission ticket at any time without providing a reason. The admission ticket and a valid form of identification must be presented at any time upon request by the casino. Admission tickets are issued for a single visit or as season passes. Season passes are valid for a maximum of one year.
B. House rules
1. The casino exercises its right to enforce house rules at its gaming facilities. It is therefore entitled at any time, without providing a reason, to deny individuals entry to or permission to remain in the casino, to issue a ban from the premises, and to request that they leave the casino. This applies in particular to guests who violate the house rules and gaming regulations or disrupt gaming operations. The casino is authorized to process personal data regarding the status of the ban and to store it until one year after the ban has been lifted. Upon expiration of this period, this data must be deleted, unless other legal provisions require a longer retention period.
2. In particular, the casino is entitled to deny access to guests (i) who are subject to a gambling ban, (ii) who are barred from the premises, (iii) with respect to whom the casino is required to exercise enhanced due diligence and who fail to provide information regarding the source of the assets they are using for gambling purposes, (iv) who are intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol, (v) who are carrying weapons of any kind, (vi) who are accompanied by animals, or (vii) who are carrying food or beverages.

In individual cases, the casino may order that the data be stored for a longer period if, to the extent that, and for as long as, there are factual indications that a stored record is necessary for the prevention and investigation of criminal offenses.
4. Access to the recorded and stored data may only be granted to (i) the casino and the persons designated by it for this purpose, (ii) the supervisory authorities, and (iii) the law enforcement authorities, insofar as they are authorised to do so under the law applicable to them.
