We are committed to dealing responsibly with possible gambling risks, because the well-being of our guests is important to us at Spielbank Berlin. This is why this topic is of particular importance in all of the games we offer.
As one of the first casinos in Germany, we launched a project for the prevention and intervention of pathological gambling in 2000, in collaboration with the Charité University Berlin, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Sabine Grüsser Sinopoli and Dr. Ulrike Albrecht Sonnenschein.
We rely on comprehensive prevention measures and employ specially trained staff who are exclusively responsible for player protection and our social concept.

Money laundering prevention
Money laundering refers to the introduction of illegally acquired money into the legal financial system.
The “washed” assets come from illegal activities such as corruption, drug trafficking or tax evasion, the origin of which is to be concealed. Money laundering is an international phenomenon and a criminal offense under German and international law. Combating it is crucial in the fight against organized crime and terrorist financing. In current economic growth models, money laundering is considered a long-term obstacle to growth.
In Germany, the number of cases has multiplied in the last three decades, despite a general decline in crime.
We take our responsibility in the area of money laundering very seriously. Through strict controls and transparent procedures, we ensure that all transactions in our casino comply with legal requirements. Our trained employees are trained to recognize suspicious activities and act immediately to protect the integrity of our company.
