Spielbank Berlin excites at the German Film Awards After Show Party

Glamour, film stars, and thrills: Celebrity guests tried their luck at roulette and blackjack tables – and the wheel of fortune spun late into the night.

On May 9, 2025, the Theater am Potsdamer Platz became not only the stage for the glamorous presentation of the Lolas, but also a hotspot for gaming excitement: Spielbank Berlin brought its mobile “Casino on Tour” to the event, quickly becoming a crowd magnet at the After Show Party. With classic roulette, blackjack, and a wheel of fortune, Spielbank Berlin offered around 1,700 guests an extraordinary entertainment experience.

Numerous prominent visitors, including Tatort star Christine Urspruch and the influencer group “Elevator Boys,” seized the opportunity to test their luck at the gaming tables. The lively atmosphere lasted well into the night, as guests enjoyed exciting games and prize draws.

“In the year of Spielbank Berlin’s 50th anniversary, culture can count on us,” emphasized Gerhard Wilhelm, spokesperson for Spielbank Berlin’s management, in conversation with Minister of State for Culture Wolfram Weimer. The casino sees itself not only as a venue for gaming, but also as an engaged partner of the city community and a supporter of arts and culture.

The German Film Awards 2025 were marked by cinematic highlights, moving moments, and social engagement. With its “Casino on Tour,” Spielbank Berlin added another highlight, creating unforgettable moments at one of the year’s most important cultural events.
